"Passion in the job puts perfection in the work."

 Justin Roxo

Our interactions have an impact that lives beyond our own life.  It’s interesting to consider which encounters hold the largest imprint on us.  These interactions retain the memories of those of whom we cross paths. I struggle to grip onto the happy moments while other memories remain burned in my mind as clear as the day I first experienced it.  My art practice recreates these memories so that the viewer may go on an experiential journey of my mental state.  I hope the experience triggers a similar memory within the viewer’s mind so that a dialogue with mutual empathy is created.  My work has slowly been evolving from the external marks we leave upon our family and home to the internal scars inflicted upon us from the outside.
